Sauteed cabbage with apples and raisins

Ingredients

1 teaspoonunsalted butter
1 tablespooncanola oil
1onion, thinly sliced
8 cupsgreen cabbage, sliced
1 cupGranny Smith apples, sliced
2 tablespoonslemon juice, freshly squeezed
2 1/2 teaspoonsapple cider vinegar
1/2 cupraisins
1 teaspooncaraway seeds
1/2 teaspoonsalt
 Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Heat oil in a large nonstick sauté pan over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.

Add cabbage and onion, and cook until cabbage has softened slightly, about 10 minutes.

Stir in caraway seeds, salt, lemon juice, and vinegar.

Season with pepper.

Cook until cabbage and onion have almost wilted.

Stir in apples, raisins, and butter and serve.
